An alumnus of the prestigious IISc Bangalore and IIT Bombay, Kousik brings over 28 years of rich industry experience from industry giants like Philips, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco, and HCL. As the founder of SVAIM   , he splits his time between leading innovation, teaching practical AI and Deep Learning, and leading AI projects. His expertise in digital video/imaging technologies, VR, and AR has led to several filed patents and numerous conference papers - he jokes that his reading list is heavier than his gym weights. A senior member of IEEE, Kousik has co-founded CTSoc Bangalore chapter and RAS (Robotics and Automation Society) Bangalore chapter as well. He also serves on the TPC (Tech Program Committee) for various conferences worldwide. When not wrestling with new tech, he's either pumping iron or trying to conjugate verbs in another foreign language.
